this is how i spent my holiday, sewing a bag. i can't stand to carry too many things everyday and climbing those hills to reach class. this bag would be the solution to all of the problems; a tote bag made of red cotton drill and black leather inspired by Givenchy bag (LOL)

and now i can focus to complete my design which left 4 days more! MY GOD!

it's been quite a while since my last update, i'm quite busy actually (really?) with my new life as a fashion student (again) at the new place and environment. it's been a month now, still i can't believe that i'm here and doing things that i thought i'm not gonna do it again. well, life is unpredictable. just go with the flow..

this is my current obsession, i can't look any thing in mustard (color). when i saw something in mustard, my heart keep telling me to grab it! and i have the strong feeling that mustard will be my next top color!

 


 

and for some, they will combine it with royal blue, it will look a bit classy and a bit of vintage effect. isn't that stunning?

 

just few days ago, one of my consultant (wow) told me that there's still a color that makes mustard stand out and of coz you'll be the center of the attention. the color is PLUM! to be honest i've never heard that color before, and thanks to mr. google! LOL

perfect combination to make a statement! these two colors will be on my top list for my next project that i've named it FU+URISTICULTURE; the fusion culture! #FUTURISTICULTURE

hi everyone! how's your day? me? feeling absolutely great! and there're thousand reason why i'm on cloud 9!

as everyone know (gituww), one of my collection was worn by one of my classmate (ex) on her memorable day. It's a dream of every designer to see their collection worn by the real people on the real life (well, runway is a fake). i'm so excited watching my design and i can't hide it (sorry guys i'm to OTT on that day LOL). anyway, eventhough she's officialy married month ago, i'm still wanna wish selamat berkahwin-kahwin my lady. Did i mention this? she look like a futuristic princess on my "Marry The Day". oh si putih, you are having too much exposed since i created you.

flashback:

one month: wedding festival (worn by 'white goose')

6 month: fashion day (worn by nik)

1 years old: Rebayah's wedding (probably the finale, sorry i stole your picture: you know who you are!)

and also some photoshoot by somebody that i used to know, fyi, i'm still waiting for the payment and the other thing you have promised before you borrowed the dress, and please, don't make that face!

enough with si putih, now move on to the new hot thing from the oven! i'm proudly to introduce: 

who is she? she is the new hot girl in town! totally excited on renee, so much to talk about, but, lets give renee some privacy LOL

and last but not least, the UiTM degree fashion show.finally, i got the chance to be part of this phenomenal event of the year. 

                                          

and the ticket is the only thing that i snap on my camera. quite dissapointed because i don't have any single picture of the runway because i wasn't on the strategic spot to capture any picture and the worst part is i only have a 5 megapixel camera. durghh!

anyway, the show was great. credit to all of their effort. every collection was clean and nicely construct. the best part is i got the chance to see face to face with some biggest name in the industry (and also some hot 'stuff' LOL)

it's been a good day so far. 2013 really bring a lot of changes, may all these good things will continue till the end of the year.

Oh My Givenchy

hey guys! it's time for some fall/winter 2013 collection from one of my must-watch brand, and please pronounce it right. it is GIVENCHY!

 

 

and this 3 are my favorite look. when leather is combining with other fabric, it will totally look so modern and chic. looveeee it!

Mantel-itic

hey guys! do you know what is MANTEL? i'm so into mantel. well, actually mantel is a malay word for a CAPE. still don't get it? come! let me show you what is mantel, and please, when i talk, you listen! (LOL)

cape is some kind of.. clothing.. but it only be wear to complete a look. there's no armhole, just place it on your shoulder, and you're ready to rock the world. jyeah!

what i love about cape is that it is a very simple thing, but yet so much to talk about (what!) the most important thing is, it is easy designing a cape, very simple, in fact you could make it less then 10 minutes (really??) because it's dartless (no dart)

but the challenging part is how to make it unique and so you! me, so  i've designed a couple of it. and i love it, but sadly, i can't wear it because it's designed with a model size! too bad!

this is my 1st cape. a structural leather cape inspired by gaga; the mother monster. i almost kill my self doing this. it's hard to handle such a tick leather. thank you miss farah! you are so inspiring!

and this one is my 3rd design for my final collection. and again, i almost kill myself. haha. thank you mr pattern maker E.K for guiding me.

i'm in the mood to design another one, for myself. and still think about the right fabric for it. after that i could wear a mantel! take off those boring cardigan and jacket guys! it's time for some MANTEL

What Men Want

lately, i've been interested with menswear. i don't know why. other than hot models, perhaps i've found that menswear are getting more and more interesting today. actually designing a menswear is quite challenging compare to women wear.

1st, a menswear shouldn't be too OTT, otherwise it will look awkward and a bit girly stuff. secondly, it must be new and unique, never been see before but at the same time still not crossing the line. i'm saluting everyone who are successfully designing menswear because they've done a great job.

people are getting more and more creative today. there's no time for play safe. i wish one day i could have the confident to designing some menswear. anyway, i've tried to myself, and the result is... so... pathetic. LOL! not gonna say about that anymore!

well, i do think men look good in black and white.. but hey! it's 2013! lets play some more colors. the color blocking collection by burberry prorsum summer 2013 is stunning. my eyes would be for gucci, i just love the bags.

 

and this one below probably the new wave of menswear. there're pros and cons. i don't know what to say/ what say you. to me, with the right styling, this could be something wearable for men. if not, no men dare to wear peplum in public! 

BUT! here comes the serious problem especially in Malaysia, you can't be too fashionable, because people will stare at you like you're some kind of pre historical creature. trust me! WHEN I SPEAK YOU LISTEN (lol) anyway, confident is the key!
