when it's come to friday, i'll listen to rebecca black's song, friday. just forget how she sound, after all, it's just a happy song to tell how much she loves friday. LOL

I scroll down my timeline this morning, and i found an interesting entry, it's a poll on how people thought about art student. the largest percentage shown that they questioning how the art student can gain money after they are graduated.

and then, i start to came out with this version on my head; people reaction when i'm telling them i am a fashion student:




3) you must be sissy!: that's totally the epic one. when a boy say the love fashion, the 1st thing that people think is that boy is sissy or local people would called PONDAN.

2) is there any job offered you?: please people, open your mind. there're thousand jobs in this world and we have the skills to be offered to the job, can you see that?

1) you must know how to sew, can you make a dress?!: probably the most popular one. when you heard it for the 1st time, you may think it's really a question, but when you heard it almost billion time, you starts to think, that it is some way to insult us! i heard this question every raya, my makcik, my uncle and even from person i even don't know who they are, even at the bank (recently). fyi, i'm not gonna make you guys a baju kurung, that isn't what i trained to be!




sometimes, it's hard to change people perception  no one would hear a little voice. all we have to do is try to prove it. yeah, i bet all fashion student is die-to-prove to people around them that they are more then what these people think they are.

i never regret this because i am proud to be a fashion student (once); fashion is a life style. it's a cool thing to do thing that you love the most and fight for your right because inside, i am a fighter (rolling eyes).

The Ugly Hoddy T-Shirt

taraa!! i presents to you my 1st so-called t-shirt! i'm just do it for fun, actually this is the 1st time i'm designing something for myself. it doesn't work well, but the fabric itself (lycra) help to shape the shirt and hide error in measuring. LOL

I'm using my extra tangerine lycra that i've used for my final year collection, the fabric is totally comfortable, but i don't think i'll wear it in public, it's too OTT!

in case you're wondering what is the black things on the shirt made of, it's leather. i think it's quite a fun way to combining leather with other material, it's just stand out. the hood wasn't in the design. i just add it to cover the finishing on the collar because i don't have those sewing machine for lycra. 

actually, it's hard to measure your own body. especially my type of body! i think i should just buy it rather than design it for myself. this t-shirt is totally unpractical and unwearable. totally out! perhaps i should keep practicing more and more so then, i could dare to wear my own design in public. LOL 

Real Mad-Read

hey! i'm super duper mad right now with some species of human yang suka request games dekat facebook. fyi, those requesting things are totally annoying. i would kill you if you are near me. as a result, saya baru removing one of them, not just that, to make it more dramatic, and to show how mad i am, i am blocking him. yes, he is a men. a stupid men! go fuck your self. the end~

Creepy Crepe

wuhu! how is your day monsters? well, today I've made something special for someone special in my heart. I've made the current food phenomena in Malaysia. the crepe, for my mom's birthday.

but my version is kinda pink and filled with assorted fruits. it's totally yummy after you put in the fridge, taste like ice cream. well that was my first trial. and there're lot more to improve. this little guy, i called it THE CREEPY LITTLE PINK by MONS+ER CHEF. walah!

btw, i would like to wish a happy birthday to this beloved women; a chef, a teacher, a doctor, a good friend and also a mom. thanks mak, me love you with all me heart! 

Annoying Environment

lately i'm annoyed with those people who posted picture of death body on their wall. I know it's your page, but when you post something, I can see it too on my timeline. dan juga sesetengah manusia yg sebok berkempen for nothing. save this, save that, boycott  this, boycott that. honestly, that's totally won't work. dah mengalahkan pemimpin pulak gamaknya. please stop all those nonsense. maybe i'll vote you to be the next PM, keep on campaigning! #durgh

Album Review; Take Me Home

I just listen the latest album from One Direction; Take Me Home. The most anticipating album, and been waiting by the fans.

maintain with their teen pop, Take Me Home really take 1D onto another level. compare to the first album, this album shows that they have already grown up in the industry. the song choice is more matured and in term of music arrangement, Take Me Home is far better than Up All Night.

don't just listen to the 2 singles. because this album offer you more. personally, my favorite tracks would be Last First Kiss. an easy listening track. so directioner, go grab your copy now! 4 stars for Take Me Home.

I'm A Murderer

hey guys! remember that we always said this when we're still studying? "i'm tired, i hope everything will end soon and i could enjoy my life". well, sekarang saya dah sebulan finished my college  and the truth is, life never been this boring! at first, it's a freedom, but after a long day doing nothing, you'll felt that something is missing. saya sangat bosan!

so, to fill up my boring times, i continue to designing more and more design. and this time i am designing for my self. this is another version of the bicker jacket. i'm tired wearing those boring and pathetic cardigan. and hopefully this jacket will work.  

still with red and black and some gold, the red thing like a dart on every side of the jacket was designed to make my body look a bit long and slim (rolling eyes). I'm using all the fabrics that i have and now i'm in the middle of making the master pattern. I've never done this before so i'm quite nervous with the result and this totally need a toile!

RIP Mr. Little Teddy

in another hand, I felt sorry for this little guy where i've brutally tortured him. you are now being a savior for all pins that i have. you should thanks me for that! but you still look cute with pins all over your body. LOL

Peplum Fever

omg, i'm totally insane and addicted to peplum dress. i don't know why, i think peplum dress is so in. it's so cool, and adorable. i swear, if i am a girl, i will wear peplum dress wherever i go, i even sleep with it!

as part of this peplum fever in me, i've decide to design a peplum dress for my 2nd sista! she got the same taste as i do. 

this is the final design, inspired by saloma's look. i don't think the green belt match with the dress, black is much better, for sure!

  

and this is just the sneak peek of the peplum dress that i've made. it's supposed to be the toile for the yellow one, but i think it look to perfect for a toile, so i've decided to make it another peplum dress and add some pearls. this is the black version that can be wear with a skinny or a jeans.  

now i'm in my progress designing a little version of peplum dress for my niece. well, in another strory, i've received my 1st ever costumer early this month. and the process of discussing and designing is done. Now i'm waiting her to give me the money for me to buy the fabrics. 

and after a few discussion, i've been successfully injected my tangerine dress ideology to her mind, and she agreed! walah! so this is gonna be the next tangerine dress, but in a practical way. i'm super duper excited on this design. this would be my first expectation, and the cover of my career (pfffftt)

Futuristic Alien

      

this is another cool collection from Hungarian fashion designer name Dora Mojzes. I've been followed her design few years ago and that time I was googled for avant-garde design, and I found one of her artwork.

this collection is inspired by sci-fi movie; Prometheus. What i love about this collection is how she manipulated the form of the design and of course the color. the turquoise fabric look totally cool. Nice, thumbs up monsters! 

Armour For The Feet

Hey there, alright this time I would like to share with you guys a collection of gareth pugh's shoes. You know, what I like about the shoes is because every pair of them look stunning. and different from the other, and of cause when the shoes are beautifully made, many celebrities would dare to wear it. The most memorable one would be the gold chrome shoes worn by Beyonce for her Run The World clip. Anyway, I put his s/s 2013 shoes on the top list because those metallic thing on heels, totally awesome! For the record, gareth is already collaborated with Melissa, a shoes's company to design for the company. Nice, thumbs up monsters!

Goodbye Diploma!

well. perhaps I'm the happiest person in the world right now! I just checked my final result. Alhamdulilah. Everything is done. I've end up my diploma and I'm free now! yeay!!

Review: Parit Jawa

hey there. baru2 ni saya ada tengok 1 malay drama dekat youtube. and hey! it's a good drama. I never thought that we still have a great drama that full of message and well-directed. Direct by Tunku Mona Riza, Parit Jawa is a must watch tele-movie. I must say, this is the right kind of drama/film that Malaysia should have. Enough la dgn filem pasal gangster, mat rempit or so whatever. Cliche.

I don't know what happen to Malay film industry, dah semakin mengarut. suatu masa dulu, filem berunsur seram, is in, and everday film tu jelah yang d mainkan kat panggung wayang. dari yang totally horror, sampai ke comedy horror. and suddenly someone voice it out, baru la filem2 genre ni slow down sekejap. and now trend mat rempit and gangster. come on la.

Namun, Parit Jawa jauh menyimpang dari genre demikian. Mengisahkan hubungan kekeluargaan dan semangat cintakan budaya dan bangsa. In some reason, I do think that the selection of the actor/actress didn't work quite well. 50% of this tele-flim, menggunakan dialog dalam bahasa jawa, so a truly Javanese is a must. otherwise it will sound weird. Anyway credit to Zahiril, Ruminah Sidek and Jalil hamid for make it work.

Enough with the drama, now lets move on to the soundtrack. Batu Belah Batu Konkrit, yes that is the tittle of the song. sang by MonoloQue featuring Azlina Aziz. It's a catchy song. and what make it even catchy is the lyric

Kemana hilang budaya

Diculik piring terbang

Atau ditelan buaya"

cool right! anyway, congrats to all the team of this superb tele-film. 5 stars for Parit Jawa. 

A Short Letter For You

sometimes when we're alone, we wish that we could turn back time and pretend nothing happen. we wish that we're born with super natural power, we can control time, and time traveler. we know that all such things aren't gonna happen but we still think about it.

as an adult, we face a lot of problems, that in some stage, we thought we can't handle it, but somehow, we made it through. real life is so challenging, only the strong one could stand on the podium. actually, we are all strong enough to face the world, just believe in yourself and never give up.

what pass was history, we never know what will happen next, what we know that today. is our day to shine. and i'm starts believing on this. just go with the flow.

Review: Gareth Pugh S/S2013

hey, I know this is kinda late, but I still want to share my POV of what I've seen from gareth pugh s/s 2013. inspired by " the rawness of latin american cockfighting" he came out with a collection of his signature color, black and also some grey and red. honestly I love all the red collection. it look fierce. it's quite an interesting collection; wearable and clean cut where this time he didn't concentrate much on the silhouette

and some of the pieces i have seen before on his fall/ winter 2012, perhaps he want to continue of what he have done earlier.

for those who haven't heard his name, please comeback to earth! some says he's the next mcqueen. to me, I just love his design. the vision that he put in every design give a statement. His fall winter 2011 to me is his best work. love the color, mood, material, the form and the detailing is so perfect. The jacket look too perfect and what I like the most is the shoulder of every design. it's simple, clean and look something something. For the record, he's my muse for my final year project. Thumbs up!

I just got an idea to combine two different weigh material in a dress, which is leather and lace.. so I googled. and here what i found: 

cool right? i thought it's a new thing, but many designers have already done it. Anyway, I would like to create one someday.. ok i'm gonna start designing now! just wait and see...

I Say, No No No

I think this one is not a new issue or a big one, but to me, it is! underage on social networks to me is something something (tak tau nak cakap apa)

Bila cakap isu ni. maybe orang akan cakap kita ni tak open minded or old school. But the truth is social networks is not a suitable place for underage especially students. Bila tengok tu, it's something yang annoying.

Kalau yang perempuan sebuk usha lelaki, yang lelaki pon sama. come on la, awak tu sekolah lagi. I'm not gonna charot these people, sebab parent diorang pon bagi license for them kan. parent knows what best for their children. pfft.

Just an advice, boleh tu boleh, but please monitor what your children do when they are in front of the internet. anything could happen. daripada bagi diorang online for an hour, kan bagus kalau bagi dorang buat homework. ok I don't know how this things work, because I'm not a parent yet, but it's something yang annoying (again)

Highway Unicorn

lately, I've been "curious" with unicorn. I don't know why. according to what I've googled, unicorn is a legendary animal (or is it a myth?). According to this source, a unicorn is an animal like white horse with a horn in the middle of it forehead.

It's said that unicorn is a symbol of purity and grace and it can only captured by a virgin (oh, i think I'm one of those lucky people. LOL) plus the horn can cure any sickness and can be an antidote for any poison (WOW).

alright. i'm on the process of studying this animal (takde keje). I'll find prove on the net to answer this question: is unicorn really exist or it's just a myth. 

Gaga + Mugler

Mother Monster ARTPOP

and this is the album that all little monsters have been waiting for. It has been almost 2 years since the phenomenal Born This Way, I'm totally excited when I heard gaga is on her way recording her fourthcoming album.

On August 5, 2012, she tweeted that she wants the album to have all capitalized letters, so she wants it to be designed as "ARTPOP".

She explained the title to fans through a chat on Littlemonsters.com saying "Artpop" could mean anything, pop art was a movement in the '70s that is still alive now."

Four confirmed track titles recorded during the ARTPOP era (although not confirmed to be on the actual album) are: Red Flame (with Azealia Banks), Ratchet (with Azealia Banks), Tea, and G.U.Y. (Girl Under You).

oh god I can't wait for this album. they're cute, hot, what else to be fit in a boy band, and they got the voice too! paws up directioner! 

Walk Like An Egyptian

Actually, this was my 1st attempted to design a headgear. Inspired by the egyptian, this headgear was made of mounting board, some satin, acrylic and some diamonds to make it awesome (ke?). Anyway, saya tak menang pon sebab this headgear nampak a lil bit cheap (gelak tutup mulut).

Anyway (again) walaupn dah lama event ni, saya still nak say a big thanks to those yg support, especially my sabahan model, cella john. you look fierce girl!

here goes the runner-up. by my classmate, ershad kamari with his abang elok model from milan katenye! no wonder la boleh menang. apa2 pun headgear ala2 headgear Givenchy ni memang deserved to be on the podium. 

and this is the winner of the night. also my classmate. by asrol ahmad, inspired by bamboo, yes it's ranting bamboo. it look well done, and classy. plus he used ellie saab's lace to cover the model face. wah! you deserve it bro!
